First open

On a Mac

Eido is signed with its Apple developer identity and checked by Apple before release, so macOS opens it without a warning.

  1. Open the downloaded file and drag Eido into Applications.
  2. Double-click Eido. It opens.
On Windows

Eido isn't signed on Windows yet, so Windows shows one warning the first time you run the installer. Nothing is wrong - Windows just doesn't recognise the publisher. Two extra clicks get past it.

  1. Run the downloaded Eido installer.
  2. A blue screen appears: "Windows protected your PC." Click More info.
  3. Click Run anyway, then follow the installer.
  4. A later build may show the same warning again.
